From MCS "What is MCS?"
Malay Cultural Society or better known as MCS, is a non-profitable organisation run by Malaysian students under the aegis of University of Bristol Union. Also having a full support from the Malaysian Student’s Department located in London, currently have members of various nationalities and ethnic backgrounds. In a nut shell, Malay is an ethnic found in South East Asian consisting Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, and Singapore. We speak the same language but of course you would find different accent at some point. The culture might differ from one region to another but we blend them all into more diverse Malay Culture that you find today MCS with the main objective of promoting the unique and diverse Malay culture to the Bristol community, it also provides a platform to foster relationship between Malaysian community and the locals.
